Levied on by virtue of an execution for Militia Fines, due by Mr. [in manuscript: indistinct name] in Capt. [indistinct name] company on the following goods, [blank][Philadelphia? Dated in ms., August 12, 1793.] Partly printed form, (16 by 21cm), accomplished by free hand engraving. Former folds, slightly crudely trimmed along top edge.
An unusual example of late 18th century American military ephemera; created via a method of free engraving, emulating a cursive hand. The form appears to be accomplished and autographed by a Joseph Rugg [sic?]
